An exciting 6 month internship opportunity has arisen for a graduate working in the Active Travel and Behaviour Change Team at the London Borough of Waltham Forest.
Please ensure that you can travel to Walthamstow before applying for the position.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in the behaviour change phase of the Enjoy Waltham Forest (Mini-Holland) walking and cycling programme.
You will provide support across our projects to increase the number of people travelling by active and sustainable modes of transport.
Key tasks and deliverables of the internship include;
The ideal candidate will preferably have a degree in Transport, Planning or Geography however other backgrounds will be considered. The candidate should have demonstrable interest in sustainable and active travel.
The successful candidate will also need to have;
The internship programme is very successful and interns have gone on to work in transport planning and sustainable and active travel. You will be encouraged to attend a range of internal and external training courses to support your development in transport planning.
