Recruitment has opened for an initial 3-month internship, with a view to transition to a permanent role if the internship is successful. The successful intern is expected to start in October 2017 and will be based in their London Office.

Avid Media are looking for a highly creative intern to join their design team with the opportunity to gain an insight into the working life of an in-house design media studio, consumer insight and brand innovation. The internship The creative team is small, but growing, and we are looking for a design intern with a creative imagination to help with in-house projects, client work and everyday tasks.
The successful candidate would be comfortable learning on the job and be comfortable working with websites but it is not essential to have an in depth understanding of digital design. The candidate would work alongside our creative team and we would be looking for someone with a creative flair and a good level of digital technical ability.
Good typography skills, use of colour, up to date with the latest thinking in graphic and digital design, proactive problem-solving abilities would be preferred and should be willing to work on a variety of projects. Happy to be challenged by the variety of tasks undertaken in the department.
The candidate should be flexible and have problem solving aptitude. Should be proficient on photoshop, In Design and Illustrator experience would be a bonus. Branding skills would be a distinct advantage
Successful candidates must demonstrate their skills with a strong portfolio showcasing their best work
£350 per week
Avid Media operates in an agile working environment and adopt staggered hours. This means that all employees will be able to choose the hours they work provided they work core hours of 10am to 4pm. For example, employees can start working at 8am and leave at 4.30pm or start at 10am and work until 6.30pm. Work permitting, we also have the option to finish an hour early on a Friday.
